Keyboard cannot wake system from S3 sleep. Keyboard does not remember lighting settings between reboots. Only USB2.0 for onboard port, and since it uses 2xUSB ports, its not really giving you an extra header. They got away with 1 USB header in the past, not sure why they needed 2 here. The cord is really thick, and kinda ugly. Personally, the G710+ didn't feel much better than domed rubber cap keyboard, and while my wife always jokes about the loudness of this keyboard, she hasn't demanded that I get rid of it, yet either. If you live with others that are noise sensitive, or share a space while gaming, you may want to consider the G710+ with the dampened MX Browns. Really nice though because it prevents the keyboard from sliding around even when I am pounding out 100+wpm like I am now or 150+apm when heavy gaming.Ĭons: Nothing to take off, but some annoyances nonetheless They must have a slab of lead in this thing because it is HEAVY. +G-keys are a little more understated with only 6, so if you are a heavy G-key user you may need the G510 or G910 instead. +The media keys and volume wheel are really handy features. The space bar is the only key that is not as tight and responsive as I would like. I've had issues in the past with some Logitech keyboards including the original G15 where the keycaps would get loose over time, no such issue on these. Contrast for WASD and arrow keys, you can also control the level of illumination for these key groups as well. +The key caps are well made, sturdy, feel great with a slight matte finish to them. Anyone who remembers those old IBM "clicky" keys will appreciate these.except for maybe anyone else who lives with you, more on this later. Here's a rundown of the key highlights of this keyboard to be honest i would not buy it UNLESS you plan on using it for gaming or some task that requires a more precise mouse.Pros: I've been using Logitech Gaming Keyboards since they invented the genre with the original G15, and the G710 Blue continues this solid pedigree. but i admit ill pay it anyway if i ever have to replace my mouse. i feel that 79.99 is a bit steep for a mouse. i recommend it to anyone who asks me about gaming mice, it only has 11 buttons, which for the MMO heavy crowd might seem lacking, but they are placed in very easy to reach spots so that you can almost reflexively use them, which is great for a dedicated Voice Chat button, or a crouch button to relieve your left ctrl button. if this mouse could be $15-20 cheaper it would absolutely DOMINATE the market. You wont really ever need to turn mouse acceleration on in the in-game menus. the tune-able weight is great for personalizing to yo ur play-style, and its very precise, in fact it took some getting used to at first. i found it at Best Buy on Black Friday over a year ago, and the mouse works exactly now as it did out of the box, surprisingly solid for someone who games almost every night, thats THOUSANDS of clicks, with no signs of stopping.

to be honest i didnt have much faith in Logitech gaming hardware before this, as i had bought some of thier 3rd party PC gamepads back in 2007-2009 and it wasnt all that great, but they are priced much better than most of the Razer/razr (spellcheck) gear is so i gave it a shot. I really hope that they dont discontinue this mouse anytime soon so i can buy 3 backups lol. I absolutely LOVE this mouse, at first i was skeptical of the hyper scroll, but having given it a test run i found that my fears were unfounded. I have seem other people complain about this an d i might contact Logitech to see if I can get either a replacement or get a new scroll wheel to replaced my unbalanced one.Įven though it does have this issue I still really like the overall build quality of the mouse and its comfort/accuracy.

The free scroll still works if you wanna go up/down a page really fast, but it may not stop where you want it to. Although I like using free scroll when browsing the internet it is pretty much impossible with this mouse, since it might not stop where I want it to. The metal wheel seems to be unbalanced and it sometimes presents a "roll back" effect, i. The one struggle I've had with it is that the scroll wheel does not function very well when set to the free scroll mode. The tracking precision and comfort are really good, although I had to get used to the rubberized texture on the right side of the mouse (at the beginning it gave me an itch on my little finger). Almost perfect, but scroll wheel feels unbalanced
